Abstract

The present invention is related to the Fruit packaging and similar products, for storage, transport and commercialization of said products, proposing for that function a box formed by independent pieces of wood or plastic, with a mounting concept that allows assembly through simple lace couplings, without the need for tools or accessory means of any kind.

State of the art

For the packaging of fruits and products similar, there are solutions of cardboard boxes, which They are particularly economical, but they have the disadvantage of degradation by moisture, so we usually resort to plasticizing the cardboard, with the consequent increase economical, and also to get a tough armed is necessary the glue between the component parts, which forces the use of gluing machines.

There are also solutions of wooden boxes, which are formed by pieces that are fixed together by glued or stapled, accessory devices being necessary, for the gluing or stapling, and also the assembly must be done in factory, so the boxes, even empty, have to transport mounted, occupying a lot of volume. In the case of stapling solutions, the staples used are also negative for recycling and are elements that oxidize easily, affecting the appearance and integrity of the box.

There are also plastic boxes, with single-piece structural solutions, or through parts independent trailers that allow folding and unfolding, being this type of boxes of a very high cost.

Object of the invention

According to the invention, a box is preferably designed for said application of packaging of fruits, vegetables and similar products, but which can be applied to the storage and / or transport of any type of product, such as fish, presenting a formation by pieces. independent, which are joined according to a very simple assembly solution by means of simple fittings and clipping, allowing the assembly of the box in situ for its use.

This box object of the invention consists of four pieces as tables, by which the sides and ends of the box contour, assembling said pieces on tacos that form the corners, while that at the bottom there is a plate that is assembled with the pieces lateral and extreme contour.

Therefore, said box object of the invention  it results from certainly advantageous features, acquiring a life of its own and preferential character with respect to conventional solutions of the boxes of the same application.

Detailed description of the invention

The object of the invention relates to a box of those intended for the packaging of fruits, vegetables, fish, or other products, with union mounting characteristics of the component parts by means of only assemblies of lace.

The recommended box consists of a set of  independent pieces, which can be made of wood or plastic, comprising an outline of the body of the box that is formed by two side pieces (1) and two end pieces (2), which are join together by means of tacos (3) that form the corners, while the bottom is formed by a plate (4) that is assembled with respect to the mentioned parts (1 and 2) of the contour of the box.

The studs (3) of the corners (figure 6) are they constitute pieces of a straight triangular prismatic shape, determining in parallel to the perpendicular lateral faces some grooves (3.1), inside which wedges protrude prominent (3.2).

Said studs (3) can be obtained, for example, by diagonal cutting of a quadrangular prismatic block provided with the necessary conformations to define the grooves (3.1) and its wedges (3.2) in the two halves to be separated, as represented by the figure 7; without this training being limiting, since the tacos (3) can also be formed individually, without affecting to its functional concept of application in constructive training from the box.

The lateral (1) and extreme (2) parts of the contour of the box, they are constituted as flat tables, determining in extension of its ends some pins (5) intended to be inserted in the slots (3.1) of the plugs (3) of the corners, which pins (5) define conformations (5.1) liable to establish hitch in relation to wedges (3.2) of the mentioned tacos (3).

In this way, by a simple fit to pressure of the ends of the pieces (1 and 2) in the studs (3) corresponding, an assembly coupling of said pieces (1 and 2) on the respective studs (3), with retention by hooking the conformations (5.1) of the pins (5) on the wedges (3.2), thus achieving, without more, an armed firm and stable contour of the box.

The grooves (3.1) of the studs (3) are provided with  a continuous cleft all over the front of the coupling of the pieces (1 and 2), so that when the assemble the end edge of these pieces (1 and 2) embedded in the aforementioned continuous front groove of the grooves (3.1), thus ensuring better attachment of the coupling.

In one embodiment the pins (5) of the pieces (1 and 2) are susceptible to flex, as shown by the Figures 9 and 12, allowing to save the protrusion of the wedges (3.2) in the insertion on the studs (3), to establish with the conformations (5.1) the retention hitch once the corresponding wedge (3.2). In this embodiment the wedges (3.2), can be fixed and immovable with respect to the body of the studs (3), according to the example of figures 1, 6 and 7.

The conformations (5.1) of the pins (5) of the pieces (1 and 2), can be with any type of shape that allow to establish a hitch with respect to the wedges (3.2) of the tacos (3), for example by a simple perpendicular break in the end of the corresponding pins (5), as in the Figures 9 and 12, or, as in Figures 10 and 11 by means of a closed opening, without these embodiments being limiting.

In the same way, the ends of the pieces (1 and 2) may have two pins (5), as in Figures 9 and 10, to fit in grooves (3.1) of the studs (3), or a single pin (5), as in figures 11 and 12, to fit in a respective groove (3.1) of the studs (3); solutions these that neither are they limiting, since they could also be three or more pins (5) at the ends of the pieces (1 and 2), in correspondence with as many grooves (3.1) of the studs (3), without altering the concept.

The pieces (1 and 2) of the box outline, they have grooves (6) near the lower edge, while the bottom plate (4) has prominent tabs on its edges (7) that are likely to fit in the mentioned slots (6) for mounting said bottom plate (4) in the assembly of the box, the number of slots (6) in the pieces can be variable (1 and 2) and corresponding tabs (7) at the edges of the bottom plate (4).

In a particular way, the slots (6) of the pieces (1 and 2) are provided in the form of omega, and the tabs (7) of the bottom plate (4) with a flexible section (7.1), which it allows to establish a snap with retention latch between said tabs (7) and slots (6), to ensure assembly Rugged bottom plate (4) in the case assembly.

The plugs (3) of the corners of the box contour are provided with a length such that they protrude at the top with respect to the pieces (1 and 2); while the height at which the grooves (6) are in the pieces
(1 and 2) for the mounting of the bottom plate (4), it makes a recess (11) at the bottom of the mounted box; which allows the stacking of some boxes on others with security and stability, since the protruding part upwards of the blocks (3) of each box fit in the hollow of the lower remission (11) of the box that is arranged above, thus establishing a lateral retention between consecutive overlapping boxes.

To facilitate the coupling assemblies of the parts in the assembly of the box, it is expected that the parts (1 and 2) of the contour, as well as the bottom plate (4) and the plate (9) of cover, be of a somewhat flexible nature; and in such sense, in the case of realization in wood, the pieces mentioned are formed with the grain in the longitudinal direction, what which favors the flexion of the same, facilitating the fitting of the conformations of assembly between them.

When the application of the box is intended for products such as fruits, vegetables, etc., that require aeration, the parts (1 and 2) of the contour, the bottom plate (4) and the cover plate (9) may be provided with at least some of they, with holes, slots, or openings of any kind, to facilitate the passage of air.

1. Removable box, of the type that comprises a structure formed by independent pieces, of wood or plastic, determining an outline formed by some lateral pieces and some extreme pieces, by way of tables, which are fixed on blocks in the corners, incorporating between said contour a bottom plate, characterized in that the contour of the box is formed by side pieces (1) and end pieces (2) that have, in prolongation of their ends, pins (5) provided with conformations (5.1 ) of engagement, said parts (1 and 2) being coupled to blocks (3) of the corners that determine grooves (3.1) for the engagement of the pins (5), and inside which grooves (3.1) wedges protrude (3.2) with respect to those that establish retention hook the conformations (5.1) of the mentioned pins (5). 2. Removable box, according to the first claim, characterized in that the wedges (3.2) are fixedly formed on the body of the studs (3), determining the pins (5) of the pieces (1 and 2) with capacity of a certain flexion to save with the conformations (5.1) the protrusion of the mentioned wedges (3.2) to the hooking position. 3. Removable box, according to the first claim, characterized in that the pieces (1 and 2) that form the contour of the box, have omega-shaped grooves (6) near the bottom edge, in respect of which it is established the fitting of tabs (7) protruding at the edges of a bottom plate (4), said tabs (7) determining a flexible section (7.1) and conformations (7.1.1 or 7.2.1), by means of which a retention hitch with respect to the mentioned grooves (6) of the parts (1 and 2). 8. Removable box, according to the first claim, characterized in that the blocks (3) of the corners of the box contour protrude upwards from the parts (1 and 2), while the bottom plate (4) it is incorporated in a somewhat recessed position with respect to the lower edge of said pieces (1 and 2), determining in the lower part of the box a hole (11) in which the upper projecting part of the blocks (3) is capable of fitting ) of another box arranged below, allowing the stacking with lateral retention of some boxes on others. 9.
