Filament and shield assembly for automobile headlamps, characterized in that it includes: a) a flat flange, containing a depression of a substantially rectangular shape b) a mounting flange, containing a longitudinal concavity capable of being assembled to a fixing pin; c) a depression in said flat flange, capable of providing the passage of a leg of a lamp filament; d) a protrusion on said flat flange, capable of being coupled by welding with a second leg of a lamp filament; and e) a lamp element, fitted within said depression and from whose filament legs it passes through said depression and is welded to a fitting welded to a fixing pin, while its other filament leg is welded to the said bump.
