Abstract
An improved disposable diaper, comprising: an absorbent pad assembly having a front surface, a back surface, a pair of side edges, a plurality of longitudinally extending folds defining a box-like fold configuration of the diaper, which has a central panel, a pair of first panels that overlap the central panel and that extend from it and a pair of more external panels that extend from said first panels and that are placed on them, a pair of pressure sensitive strips of tape, having a first part secured to the rear surface of the outermost panels together with the fastening panels which extends from one end of the first parts next to said side edges; and a pair of lateral edges of the cylinder assembly la and a part of removable sheets secured to the rear surface of the first panels and which are generally located below the first parts of the tape strips, said fastening parts being folded towards back next to the side edges of the pad assembly and fastened to the removable sheets to retain the outermost panels in their overlapping relationship before in which said removable sheets are constituted by an extension of the first parts of the tape strips that they are secured to the rear surfaces of the outermost and earliest panels.
