Abstract

Background of the invention

Various types of trucks are already known for  garbage and waste collection presenting a box receiver of the load and with rear mouth for the discharge and that present means for lifting and unloading containers in said box, which are distributed by the streets of Cities and towns

These trucks present means for lifting and unloading of a specific type of container with what that different trucks are required with adequate means for the lifting and turning of containers with unloading by their upper mouth, and others with means for lifting containers with discharge by its lower base.

Lately trucks for unloading containers by its upper mouth have been preparing to take out the side loading of the containers, instead of loading Traditional back, in order to facilitate collection and loading of the containers, performing the discharge in the upper mouth of a hopper provided next to the truck box.

Description of a preferred embodiment

According to the drawings the truck comprises a box (1) that is coupled to a frame (2) to which it is articulated by its inferior-posterior part (3). Together to the front of the box a hopper (4) is installed that in one of the sides comprises the fixing of two vertical guides (5) and (6) through which the central body (7) rises from the discharge containers (C) through its upper mouth.

Between the hopper (4) and the cab (8) of the truck an articulated and telescopic arm crane (9) is installed (10) (11) presenting at its end the coupling element (12) to the discharge containers (C ') by its lower base.

Said arm (10) in its passive arrangement remains located longitudinally on the box (1) and the hopper (4), whose arm in this arrangement will move laterally to position obliquely with respect to the longitudinal axis of the truck when unload containers elevated by the central body (7) and superiorly turned.

On one of the sides of the hopper (4) it has been provided an opening (13) closable by means of a door (14) articulated by its lower edge (15), allowing this opening manually introduce waste and garbage into the hopper.

When the hopper (4) is used for unloading of the containers, the box (1) will be superiorly closed.

Truck for the collection of urban waste, comprising a cargo receiving box and with a rear discharge mouth, and internally equipped with means for compacting waste, received from a hopper juxtaposed to the box, characterized in that it is equipped with container lifting and unloading means, said means consisting of a crane for lifting containers with unloading by their lower base, and an ascending lateral support for lifting and turning containers with unloading by their upper mouth. 2. Truck for the collection of urban waste, according to claim 1, characterized in that the truck box has an upper mouth that is closable with a removable cover. 3. Truck for the collection of urban waste, according to claim 2, characterized in that for its removability, the lid is sliding to occupy the mouth of the hopper when removed from the mouth of the box. 4. Truck for the collection of urban waste, according to claim 1, characterized in that the hopper has laterally a lockable opening for manual loading of the waste.
