Abstract

El material flocado comprende un soporte (1) laminar constituido por telas de algodón o de algodón de poliéster que en una de sus caras presenta una capa adhesiva (2) a la que está fijada una pluralidad de cortos filamentos (3) o flock destinado a superficie exterior de acabado. A su vez, el soporte (1) presenta en su cara opuesta una capa (4) de material autoadhesivo, recubierta con una lámina protectora (5) desechable, que es retirada fácilmente momentos antes de fijar el material flocado a la pieza (6) en cuestión.

Material flocado para el revestimiento de piezas.
Objeto de la invención
La presente invención se refiere como su título indica a un material flocado para el revestimiento de piezas, siendo dicho material flocado del tipo de los destinadas a fijarse sobre piezas para definir un revestimiento flocado.
Antecedentes de la invención
Actualmente es una práctica habitual realizar el revestimiento de determinadas piezas y perfiles con fibras de materiales diversos, obteniendo un revestimiento flocado. Estas fibras pueden ser de diversos materiales tales como acrílico, poliéster, poliamida, fibrana, rayón, etc.
La utilización de piezas flocadas se utiliza con una determinada frecuencia en determinados campos de la industria y especialmente en el campo de la automoción donde es habitual el uso de perfiles, cantoneras, guanteras e interiores flocados.
Actualmente la aplicación del flocado sobre la pieza a revestir resulta especialmente compleja ya que contempla las siguientes operaciones: inicialmente el lijado, lavado y secado de la superficie a revestir, la aplicación sobre dicha superficie de una resina que actúa como elemento de unión del flocado, siendo preciso realizar posteriormente el secado de la resina, una vez aplicado el flocado sobre la misma, y el cepillado final para eliminar el sobrante de flock.
Esta operativa resulta especialmente compleja, limita notablemente la capacidad de producción de piezas flocadas e incrementa el precio de las mismas.
Por tanto, el problema técnico que se plantea es la obtención de un material flocado que se pueda aplicar sobre piezas de diferentes materiales y formas, de modo rápido y sencillo.
Descripción de la invención
El material flocado para revestimiento de la invención presenta unas particularidades que lo hacen especialmente apto para optimizar en tiempo y calidad la operación de aplicación de material flocado sobre piezas que se quieran revestir.
Para ello, el material flocado comprende un soporte de tela que presenta en una de sus caras un adhesivo o cola en la que se ha fijado de forma permanente una pluralidad de cortos filamentos o flocado, que constituye la superficie vista del material.
A su vez, en la cara opuesta se encuentra aplicada una fina capa de material autoadhesivo, cubierto por un film o lámina protectora desechable que se puede retirar fácilmente antes de la aplicación.
Con este material el operario tiene muy fácil proceder al revestido de la pieza, ya que solo tiene que coger una hoja de material flocado previamente troquelada, retirar la lámina protectora del autoadhesivo y aplicar directamente sobre las superficies de la pieza que se van a recubrir. Además presenta otras ventajas, tales como evitar la formación de grumos de cola o adhesivo, las operaciones de preparación de la pieza para que sus superficies tengan un agarre adecuado y el tiempo de secado posterior, ya en este caso la adhesión es instantánea.
El autoadhesivo permite simplificar notablemente la aplicación del material flocado sobre piezas termoconformadas en frío.
La aplicación de material flocado puede realizarse sobre piezas enfriadas después del proceso de inyección o de extrusión, de modo que, aplicando simplemente con una ligera presión el material flocado, éste quedará adherido a la pieza deseada.
Cuando se vaya a aplicar el material flocado a un perfil o a otra pieza en frío, bastará con colocar la pieza autoadhesiva previamente troquelada según la forma de la pieza a revestir sobre esta última, presionar ligeramente el material flocado contra la pieza para conseguir su fijación. Al ser muy sutil el espesor del soporte, el material flocado adhiere perfectamente a la superficie a revestir, cualquiera sea su forma o material.
Para realizar el revestimiento de piezas de diferentes geometrías, se realizará previamente la obtención, por troquelado o corte, de una porción del material flocado cuya superficie en desarrollo plano, coincida con la superficie de la pieza a revestir.
Descripción de las figuras
Para complementar la descripción que se está realizando y con objeto de facilitar la comprensión de las características de la invención, se acompaña a la presente memoria descriptiva un juego de dibujos en los que, con carácter ilustrativo y no limitativo, se ha representado lo siguiente:
- La figura 1 muestra una vista en sección del material flocado.
- La figura 2 muestra de forma esquemática un modo de aplicación de una lámina ya troquelada de material flocado sobre una pieza.
Realización preferente de la invención
Como se puede observar en las figuras referenciadas el material flocado presenta una configuración laminar con un soporte (1) de tela de algodón o de algodón de poliéster, de grosor muy reducido, que en una de sus caras presenta una capa adhesiva (2) a la que está fijada una pluralidad de cortos filamentos (3) o flock destinado a superficie exterior de acabado. A su vez, el soporte (1) presenta en su cara opuesta una capa (4) de material autoadhesivo, recubierta con una lámina protectora (5) desechable, que es retirada fácilmente momentos antes de fijar el material flocado a la pieza (6) en cuestión.
Una vez descrita suficientemente la naturaleza de la invención, así como un ejemplo de realización preferente, se hace constar a los efectos oportunos que los materiales, forma, tamaño y disposición de los elementos descritos podrán ser modificados, siempre y cuando ello no suponga una alteración de las características esenciales de la invención que se reivindican a continuación.

Claims (4)

1. Material flocado para el revestimiento de piezas, del tipo de los que presenta una configuración laminar y que comprende un soporte (1) que en una de sus caras presenta una capa adhesiva (2) en la que se encuentra adherida una pluralidad de cortos filamentos (3) o flock de acabado de su superficie exterior, caracterizado porque comprende en la cara opuesta del soporte (1) una capa (4) de material autoadhesivo.
2. Material flocado, según la reivindicación 1, caracterizado porque el soporte (1) está constituido por telas de algodón o de algodón de poliéster.
3. Material flocado, según la reivindicación 1, caracterizado porque el soporte (1) tiene un espesor reducido para que el material flocado adhiera completamente a la superficie que se pretende revestir.
4. Material, de conformidad con la reivindicación 1, caracterizado porque comprende una lámina protectora (5) de la capa de material autoadhesivo.
