Abstract

Método para gestionar la Calidad de Servicio, QoS, en una red (10) de paquetes, comprendiendo el método las siguientes etapas: alimentar un flujo de información específico hacia la red (10) de paquetes con el fin de realizar mediciones; medir las características de dicho flujo de información en una medición continua para producir información QoS, caracterizado porque el método comprende además: controlar el tráfico de comunicaciones en la red (10) de paquetes basándose en dicha información QoS para gestionar la Calidad de Servicio (QoS) en la red de paquetes, en el que la red de paquetes comprende por lo menos dos nodos (E, F, G, H) de acceso a través de los cuales se transmite tráfico de comunicaciones hacia y desde dicha red (10) de paquetes, y porque existe una pluralidad de rutas de tráfico de comunicaciones entre dichos nodos de acceso, en el que dicha medición continua se lleva a cabo sobre una ruta que va a través de dichos nodos de acceso, y en el que dicho control del tráfico de comunicación se realiza controlando dicha pluralidad de rutas de tráfico de comunicaciones.
