Description

Stackable and nestable box, with double height of fit in

The invention relates to a shape box general parallelepiped, rectangular section, for maintenance of products, such as agricultural products or products various foods, for example on a large surface.

There are numerous versions of these boxes, since either in commerce or in publications, in particular the Patent publications

In this "mess", an objective of the invention is to propose a box:

-

that can be embedded in another underlying box according to two depths different from embedded,

-

that can also be superimposed on said box, practically without embedded (position called "stacking") in a third situation,

-

that be easy to maneuver for the user when you want to place your box in any of the three positions (deep embedded / embedded reduced / stacked),

-

that It is solid and does not present parts that, in particular due to its Difficulty of maneuver, particularly if they are mobile, run the risk of leading the user to "force" on some parts of the box, running the risk of damaging it,

-

that may present on its side walls, aeration zones sufficient, without affecting the strength and rigidity of the set of the box that should allow the realization of batteries high, without weakening (at least 5, and even 10, boxes stacked), and that despite everything, do not force to provide walls sides too wide open, as may be the case in relative document FR-A-2 192 947 to a "box with skylights."

The document EP-A-0 774 421 describes a box of general parallelepiped shape of substantially rectangular section which includes:

-

a bottom of which they rise up to a perimetric upper flange about side walls that each have a offset between the upper perimeter flange and bottom, such that the box section is more important in the upper flange than in the bottom,

-

on the inner face of the two facing side walls, starting of the upper perimeter flange of the box, some first and some second open housings arranged next to one of the others, the second accommodation being smaller than first,

-

on the outer face of said facing side walls that they present the lodgings, some substantially vertical pillars in highlight that extend in vertical extension of the first accommodation and adapted to be accommodated or in the first housings, in a first relative positioning position of said upper box in an identical lower box, or in seconds housings, this in a second relative position of embedded said upper box in said lower box.

Moreover, the document GB-A-2 171 980 describes a box that it can be deeply embedded in an identical or stacked box, in other words superimposed on this box practically without embedded, by means of articulated fins on the upper flange of two facing side walls.

However, the boxes described in the document EP-A-0 774 421 and the GB-A-2 171 980 are quite close to each other in terms of the possibilities of overlapping and / or of fit them. Indeed, in one of the two relative positions of embedded, the height of the box described in the document EP-A-0 774 421 does not exceed much of the 5%.

In order to propose broader possibilities of arrange two identical overlapping boxes, according to the invention the box also has the characteristics following:

-

the box presents three highlights externally and internally horizontal peripherals,

-

the first housings are interrupted in the vertical of the projection intermediate,

-

the pillars extend between the intermediate shoulder and the shoulder lower, and

-

the box also comprises towards its upper edge, two fins that are extend each between said two facing side walls that present the housings and the pillars, each fin being movable between an inactive position in which the fins free access for one of the two boxes mentioned in a box upper in a lower box and an active position in which the fins prevent this access by extending substantially at the level of upper flange of the box, for an overlap significantly without fitting (stacking) the top box over the box lower.

Thus, the box has three relative positions truly distinct: deep embedded, reduced embedded and piled up.

Advantageously, the deep fitting corresponds to an embedded between 70 and 80% of the height of the box and the reduced fitting corresponds to a fitting between 30 and 40% of the height of the box.

Another object of the invention still relates to advantages that can be obtained from the pillars in "V" or in "Y", such as those described in the document FR-A-2 504 889, without suffering its inconvenience

The solution found by the invention consists of use at least the first cited features of the box, also providing that the outer pillars and said first higher (and therefore higher volume) accommodations planned to receive them in the deepest embedded position, present locally inclined side walls with respect to the vertical, so that they are narrower in the lower part than in The high part.

Another problem that the invention has proposed to solve refers to the way of making the pillars and the Higher housings to improve embedded conditions deeper, avoiding losing useful space without harming the mechanical resistance of the box.

For this, another feature of the invention proposed that:

-

the first housings formed on the inside of the walls facing each other are open frontally, at the bottom, to leave the passage to the pillars in one of the embedded positions, Y

the pillars therefore have, each, a high open part and a lower part, so that the lower part of each of the pillars of an upper box embedded in an identical lower box, according to one of said relative engagement positions is entered in the opening of the first corresponding housing of the box lower.

Figure 9 shows two boxes fitted as in Figure 7, but in section.

In figure 1 in principle, it is represented a maintenance box 1 all of plastic material (polyethylene, polypropylene ...), except if necessary stacked, or mobile fins, 3, which could be metallic (or with soul metal), although a plastic embodiment is preferred. Box 1 it comprises a bottom 5 (see figures 2 and 3) from which four rise side walls 7, 9, 11, 13 that extend substantially in the same height, which is in the example the total height H of the box, and around its perimeter.

Being the box in the parallelepiped example of rectangular section not square, there are two walls longer sides 7, 9, or "longitudinal" walls and other walls also facing each other of shorter length, 11, 13, or "transverse" walls.

Rather than make these side walls as in document FR-A-2 719 290, that is to say practically vertical walls (with angle  of plucking included) with a top and a bottom displaced in depth one with respect to the other in the vertical of a perimeter step with angles noticeably straight that outwardly defines a cantilever and internally a flange, the four side walls of the box illustrated here each one has three highlights 15, 17, 19 that extend horizontally (assuming background 5 horizontal) on the perimeter of the box (except if it is eventually interrupted locally, as in the vertical of the open grip handles 21, 21 ', 23, 23') and this both on the outer face and on the inner face of each of the side walls. The stepped solution (s) does not is however prohibited).

These highlights are staggered to different heights of the box and are formed by a slope comprised between 10º and 50º with respect to the vertical. Between two highlights, the side walls are vertical (with the angle of plucking necessary for molding included).

The peripheral upper shoulder 15 is interwoven, on the outer face of the side walls, with the base of the upper perimeter belt 25 that the box presents usual, in highlight on this outer face.

Also conventionally, the belt 25 vertically presents a "boxed" appearance with the succession of grid ribs.

The upper flange of the belt 25 defines the perimeter flange 27 of the side walls, and therefore of the box.

Except externally on the vertical of this belt, as well as vertical vertical pillars 29 of which will be discussed next, the walls of the box are essentially smooth (i.e. devoid of ribs), of way to avoid creating dirt retention zones. The same They can also be perforated.

The orientation of the slope slopes 15, 17, 19, is chosen so that the box section is more important in its open vertex than in the bottom of the box.

It will also be noted that in each of the four side walls, a wide can be formed handle, integrating each handle in all or part of the perimeter belt 25.

To this end, the box presents on its two walls longitudinal 7, 9, facing, some pillars 29 and some housings intended to receive the pillars of another identical box superimposed on the first, whether the user places the two boxes one over the other with the same angular orientation around the axis vertical that passes through the center of its bottom (retentive axis 31 in the Figure 1) as if these two coaxially overlapping boxes are rotated with respect to each other 180 ° around this axis 31.

More precisely, the pillars 29 and their cooperating accommodation (referenced 33 for the first series of housings and 35 for the second series) are arranged so that in one of the two relative positions, the fitting is obtained deeper "from the upper box in the lower box, while from the second relative position, the other will be obtained fit in

To do this, the first accommodations 33 are practiced at a higher height, and therefore have a hollow higher reception volume, than the second accommodation 35.

These two series of accommodations are formed to starting from the upper flange 27, and are open at the side upper and laterally on the inner side (7th or 9th, see figure 1 or 3) of the longitudinal walls 7 and 9, to receive the pillars

Rather than hollowing accommodation in a even higher height, as well as for the pillars formed on the outer face 7b, 9b of said walls, the pillars 29 are interrupt remotely from the bottom 5 (in the example at the level of lower highlight 19) and the first housings 33 are interrupted still above (in the example in the vertical of the intermediate highlight 17) while the second housings 35 only extend in a few centimeters deep in the upper flange 27 of the walls 7 and 9 interested.

With respect to a vertical plane (schematized in 37 in figure 1) containing axis 31 and passing through the center of the walls 7, 9 facing, the pillars and the first and second housings have symmetry.

The pillars 29 extend vertically from the base, or the bottom, of an outer perimeter belt 25 in a maximum thickness e (see Figure 5) such that the pillars are contained in the total volume defined by the belt.

Thus, the base 25a of this belt will serve as a stop of "deep" fit by support on upper flange 27 of an underlying box (see figure 6). In view of this figure, it is understood that the first housings 33 have a part high provided with a front wall in alignment with the face outside considered 33a1 and a lower part 33a2 without wall (nor of the side of the outer face, or the side of the inner face), of so that this low part receives the low part 29a of the pillar correspondent.

In the example, the pillars 29 of one of the walls 7 or 9 are each arranged in front of a "second" small housing 35 located on the opposite wall (9 or 7, respectively).

These same pillars are on the other hand each located in vertical extension of one of the "first" accommodations 33.

These pillars are otherwise integrated each in the same "vertical" as accommodation 33 to which It is attached.

Thus, on the same wall, 7 or 9, the first housings 33 and the second housings 35 are located one side by side, with a distribution in two groups, each to distance from each other and from the other two walls 3, 5, of such so that for each group two pillars are found externally 29 and, internally, two accommodations 33 and two accommodations 35 arranged in alternation.

Concerning also to the pillars 29, it you will notice that they are therefore open frontally in the upper part 29b in the vertical zone 33a2 of the corresponding accommodation, so that it can be housed in it the bottom 29a of the pillar of a top box conveniently oriented (see figure 6).

Below, these same pillars present, each one, two side walls 29c inclined with respect to the vertical, such that the lower part 29a is narrower (width d_ {1}) than the high part (d_ {2}) (see figure 4).

For solidity and stability of the fitting, the part low 29a (although partially hollow) is not limited to just one vertical rib and inclined side walls 29c are located in the intermediate part, between 29a and 29b.

It should be noted that for the quality of the fitting, the first 33 accommodations (the deepest) present each two side walls 33b (see figures 1 and 3) whose slope and position are adapted to be complementary to those that are provided in the pillars 29.

In this way, two of said identical boxes superimposed and identically oriented with respect to the same axis vertical 31, can be embedded in the depth greater than fitted available (in the example height located between the base of the belt and the bottom of the tank), being the pillars of the box superior, in this situation, introduced in the first housings 33 of the lower case, entering the part low 29a of said pillars in the low open part 33a2 of the housings 33 and appearing on the other hand in figure 6 in the vertical of the hollow central area 29b of the box pillars lower.

In relative position of the same two boxes rotated 180º with respect to axis 31 (that is, in the position of Figure 7), the pillars 29 of the upper case pass through the contrary to resting by its base 29a on the bottom of the second housings 35 formed in the flange of the lower case, in such a way that there is then "intermediate".

Finally, to get the stacking position illustrated in figure 8 (and in relative orientation, at 0º or 180º, around axis 31 of the two overlapping boxes is indifferent), the two bars or fins 3 are already used presented.

Thus, the two grab bars 3 are each pivotally mounted in the proximity and parallel to one of the two side walls 11, 13, in grooves, and are arranged so that they can be moved between a first position inactive, in which these fins release access for one of the two cited fittings of figures 6 and 7, and a second position active (see figures 1, 2 or 8) in which the two fins 3 are refuted in the direction of the center of the interested box to prevent to an upper box the access to the interior of the lower box, then extending substantially to the level of the upper flange 27 of the lower case, for a superposition substantially semi-packed (stacked) of the upper box on the lower box, having been only two transverse throats 43 practiced on the bottom face of the bottom 5, so that the bars 3 of the bottom box are each inserted in slot 43 corresponding from a lower box (this being conventional).

It should also be noted that instead of bars 3 pivoting, it would have been possible to provide some mobile bars by sliding in grooves of the walls 7, 9, to be shifted between their active and inactive positions.

Claims (4)

1. General parallelepiped box of substantially rectangular section comprising:

-

a bottom (5) from which they rise to an upper flange (27) perimetric side walls (7, 9, 11, 13) that present, each, a displacement between the upper flange (27) perimeter and bottom, such that the box section is more important in the upper flange (27) than in the background,

-

in the inner side of the two side walls (7, 9) facing each other, to from the perimeter top flange (27) of the box, about first and second open housings (33, 35) arranged next to each other, being the second accommodations (35) of lower height than the first (33),

-

in the outer face of said facing side walls (7, 9) that they present the accommodations, some pillars (29) noticeably vertical projections that extend in vertical extension of the first accommodations (33) and adapted to be accommodated or in the first housings (33), in a first relative position of fitting said upper box into an identical lower box, or well in a few second accommodations (35), this in a second relative positioning position of said upper box in said box lower,

characterized because:

-

the box presents three highlights externally and internally horizontal peripherals (15, 17, 19),

-

the first housings (33) are interrupted in the vertical of the shoulder  intermediate (17),

-

the pillars extend between the intermediate shoulder and the shoulder lower, and

-

the box also comprises towards its upper flange, two fins (3) that they extend each between said two side walls facing (7, 9) presenting the accommodation and the pillars, each fin being movable between an inactive position in the which fins free access for one of the two embedded cited from an upper box in a lower box, and a position active in which the fins prevent this access by spreading substantially at the level of the upper flange (27) of the box, for a substantially overlapping without stacking (stacking) the box upper on the lower box.

Box according to claim 1, characterized in that the first relative positioning position corresponds to a fitting comprised between 70 and 80% of the height of the box and the second relative positioning position corresponds to a fitting comprised between 30 and 40% of the height of the box. 3. Box according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the outer pillars (29) and the first housings (33) intended to receive them in the first relative position of partial engagement locally have side walls (29c, 33b) inclined with respect to the vertical, to be narrower in the lower part than in the upper part. 4. Box according to any of the preceding claims, characterized in that:

-

the first housings (33) formed on the inside of the facing walls (7, 9) are open frontally, in the part bottom, to give way to the pillars in one of the positions of embedded, and

-

the pillars (29) therefore each have a high part (29b) open and a low part (29a), so that the low part (29a) of each of the pillars of an upper box embedded in a identical lower box, according to one of said relative positions of embedded, it is inserted into the opening (33a) of the first housing corresponding from the lower box.
