Claims

A container body and a lid body are provided which can be freely fitted into and removed from each other, and both outer wall portions of one opposing pair of the container bodies are provided with an upper edge of the container body located at a central portion of the outer wall portion. An insertion groove having a convex cross-sectional shape extending downward from the insertion groove and a recessed part extending downward in contact with the lower end of the insertion groove are respectively provided in series, and the lid body corresponds to both outer wall portions of the container body. When the lid is fitted into the container body, insertion grooves similar to the insertion grooves are formed on the lower edge of both outer walls of the lid body, so as to face the insertion grooves formed in the container body. A hanging string of a large diameter is inserted into the pair of insertion grooves on each of the left and right sides which are apparently continuous across the container body and the lid body, and are provided toward the upper surface from the openings of these insertion grooves. A hand-hanging container characterized in that knots provided at both ends of the hanging string are respectively engaged with the lower ends of both insertion grooves on the container body side.
