Abstract

Dispositivo para empalmes de tubos, de naturaleza flexible, semirrígida y rígida, con pared exterior deformable, preferentemente de naturaleza plástica, del tipo que comprende un cuerpo tubular dotado de por lo menos una rosca exterior y por lo menos una tuerca que puede ser enroscada sobre el cuerpo, caracterizado porque se ha previsto una arandela de forma troncocónica de conicidad adecuada, susceptible de ser deformada por aplastamiento hasta una forma plana;en el fondo de la tuerca, del tipo de sombrerete, se ha previsto un alojamiento que presenta una superficie cilíndrica de retención del borde de mayor diámetro de la arandela y una parte plana radial que sirve de apoyo a dicha arandela durante el aplastamiento, mientras que el cuerpo en que se rosca la tuerca se ha previsto un borde de apriete que entra en contacto con el extremo de menor diámetro de la arandela, de modo que al enroscar la tuerca se provoca el aplastamiento de la arandela, asegurando un apriete contra la superficie radial del fondo de la tuerca.
