Method for packaging a flexible tube or cable wrapped in a roll of the type comprising successive windings of tape (N) that completely wrap the roll from one point of its circumference to another and from one of its two opposite side faces to the other, three of the four sides of each winding arranged on a plane that intersects the same roll displaced by a few degrees with respect to the plane of the previous winding, said three sides comprising a first side that runs through the circumferential periphery of the roll ; a second side that runs through a first side face of the roll from one point of its circumference to another; a third side that runs through the circumferential periphery of the roll, characterized in that said tape is extensible and that said plane of each successive winding is perpendicular to the two opposite side faces of the roll. 2. Method for packaging a flexible tube or cable wrapped in a roll, according to claim 1, characterized in that said three of the four sides of each successive winding of extensible tape (N) are arranged on tangential planes to a central hole imaginary whose diameter is approximately equal to that of the inlet mouth (B) of the hole of the roll (M). 3.
