Abstract
Procedimiento para medir el umbral anaeróbico (UA) incluye una pluralidad de etapas llevadas a cabo por una unidad de introducción de datos, una unidad de selección de la clase de carga, una unidad de detección y de cálculo y una unidad de visualización. Las etapas incluyen introducir la edad, peso y sexo del usuario que lleva un emisor de la frecuencia cardiaca y que usa un aparato de ejercicio (por ejemplo un tapiz rodante) dotado de dichas unidades, y seleccionar una clase de carga para hacer ejercicio en el aparato de ejercicio. A continuación, las unidades detectan, miden y registran el ciclo de frecuencia cardiaca y calculan la diferencia de frecuencia cardiaca entre ciclos detectada para un período determinado de tiempo. A continuación, se calcula el punto límite del UA y se presenta en la unidad de visualización para que el usuario tenga una referencia con el fin de controlar la carga de ejercicio y el tiempo.
