Abstract
Procedimiento para la estimación de la tasa de utilización de oxígeno en los reactores biológicos de estaciones depuradoras de aguas residuales, basado en la modelización matemática de la variación de oxígeno disuelto (OD) en el reactor, teniendo en cuenta los aportes de aire a través del parámetro denominado coeficiente de transferencia de oxígeno (KLa), el transporte de oxígeno disuelto (OD) por el caudal de la planta, así como el consumo producido por la actividad biológica. El procedimiento consta de las etapas de calibración del parámetro KLa, obtención de una expresión para OD, y reestructuración de dicha expresión para obtener el valor de la tasa de utilización de oxígeno. Este procedimiento de estimación se basa fundamentalmente en la información obtenida de los equipos de control y monitorización que pueden encontrarse en cualquiera de las estaciones de este tipo.Procedure for estimating the rate of oxygen utilization in the biological reactors of wastewater treatment plants, based on the mathematical modeling of the variation of dissolved oxygen (OD) in the reactor, taking into account the air contributions through the parameter called oxygen transfer coefficient (KLa), the transport of dissolved oxygen (OD) by the flow of the plant, as well as the consumption produced by the biological activity. The procedure consists of the calibration stages of the KLa parameter, obtaining an expression for OD, and restructuring said expression to obtain the value of the oxygen utilization rate. This estimation procedure is based fundamentally on the information obtained from the control and monitoring equipment that can be found in any of the stations of this type.
