Abstract
Laser welding is used to join together one or more of the following - the individual radiator elements, the tubes to the radiator connections, the blind covers or inlet or outlet covers with the end elements, the blind discs with the radiator elements, the threaded rings with the end elements, or the vertical inlet or outlet with the corresponding elements. A number of identical radiator elements (1.1-1.n) connected together by their hubs are formed by welding together half shells (3) and end pieces (2.1-2.n) in pairs to form the radiator tubes (R). A blind disc (7) is fitted to form a partition between the radiator inlet (V) and outlet. Blind covers (6) and radiator inlet or outlet connection covers (5) are screwed into threaded rings mounted on the two end elements. Two radiator inlet and outlet connections extend vertically downwards from either end of the radiator.
