Abstract

The invention relates to a prefabricated beam for a viaduct support of the type that is used to support the deck slab in the construction of viaducts, bridges and similar elements. The invention is characterised by the asymmetric section thereof which is produced by means of walls (3 and 4) which extend out from the base (2). One of said walls is disposed at an angle of 90 DEG in relation to the base while the opposing wall is disposed at an angle greater than 90 DEG in relation to said base. The aforementioned vertical wall (3) comprises multiple holes (7) which are used to connect two beams using a suitable connection means (8). According to the invention, the beams can be fixed quickly in order to produce a simple and secure assembly. Moreover, the weight of said assembly is reduced owing to the design of the section thereof, thereby facilitating the transport and fixing of same.
