Abstract
Aparato para un procedimiento de reducción y fusión de metal en el que se calienta una carga de fusión (15) que contiene metal y carbono en un horno de inducción de tipo canal (10), que comprende un recipiente de calentamiento tubular (11) en el que la carga de fusión (15) puede flotar en al menos un montón (16, 17) en un baño de metal líquido (18) en el recipiente (11), caracterizado porque el horno (10) incluye al menos un calentador por corrientes de inducción o inductor (12) que se sitúa a lo largo de la línea central del fondo (11.1) del recipiente (11).
