Abstract

Silla motorizada conducida por el acompañante. Se describe una silla de ruedas motorizada, del tipo de las que son conducidas por el acompañante, cuyo control por parte de éste resulta extraordinariamente simplificado. La silla incluye un bastidor tubular doblado en "C" en el que se ha montado un asiento para el usuario, dos ruedas de giro libre, y otras dos ruedas asociadas a un eje motriz, las cuales reciben movimiento desde un único motor-reductor a través de un conjunto diferencial. Opcionalmente, la silla puede incorporar una plataforma para el acompañante, susceptible de ser vinculada a/liberada de la silla, mediante un conjunto apropiado de articulaciones, y capaz de ser plegada cuando no se usa, hasta una posición vertical adosada a la parte trasera de la silla.
