Abstract

Sustratos para el control biológico de enfermedades de plantas. Trichoderma asperellum cepa T34(2) CECT No. 20417 es útil para la preparación de sustratos para el control biológico de la fusariosis vascular y de la muerte de planteles causada por Rhizoctonia solani. Los sustratos pueden ser turbas, composts (compost de madera dura, de corteza de pino, de corcho, de fangos de depuradora, de residuos de jardinería, etc.) o formulaciones a base de compost del tipo CPV (compost + turba + vermiculita). El hecho que estos sustratos sean supresores a Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. lycopersici y a Rhizoctonia solani a la vez, representa una ventaja comparado con otros sustratos conocidos en la técnica. Otra ventaja es que, en el control de la fusariosis vascular, se evita el uso de bromuro de metilo, producto altamente nocivo para el medio ambiente.
