Abstract

Monocristal de wolframato doble de potasio e iterbio, opcionalmente dopado, procedimiento para su producción y aplicaciones. El monocristal de wolframato doble de potasio e iterbio [KYb (WO(sub,4))(sub,2)], opcionalmente dopado con uno o más iones de elementos pertenecientes a las tierras raras, presenta una estructura cristalográfica perteneciente al sistema monoclínico, grupo espacial C2/c y es útil como material para láseres de estado sólido con emisión en el espectro visible, en particular, en el verde y en el azul, bombeados por diodos de radiación infrarroja.
