Abstract

Pneumatic mattress ship. The present invention refers to the feeding or injection of forced air by the prow area of the keel, forming a pneumatic mattress that serves as seat of the ship in the water. In this way the resistance coefficient to the march is relieved by isolating that of the steel hull from the water by means of an air layer. This reduction method of the resistance to the march is applicable to all the ships whose hull or structure sails submerged or half submerged, being applicable to all ships of transport and marine and fluvial fishing. The detail of the feeding or injection of air pressure forming an insulating layer between the water and the keel is shown in figure 1.
