Abstract

Procedimiento para colorear un material pétreo poroso. El procedimiento consiste en la precipitación de un compuesto coloreado insoluble que se deposita sobre las superficies interna y externa de un material pétreo poroso, produciéndose dicho compuesto coloreado insoluble mediante una reacción química de precipitación como consecuencia del movimiento de los cationes y aniones constituyentes de dicho compuesto coloreado insoluble a través de dicho material pétreo poroso, al someter a éste a la acción de un campo eléctrico en el interior de un reactor electroquímico. Esta migración forzada permite colorear al material pétreo poroso mediante una reacción de precipitación directa o mediante una reacción red-ox entre un oxidante y un reductor en el material pétreo poroso, con formación de un compuesto coloreado insoluble, seguido de, opcionalmente, un tratamiento térmico en presencia de un oxidante.
