Abstract

Detector de obstáculos en vía basado en la aplicación de transmisión de luz infrarroja como mecanismo de detección. La luz infrarroja es emitida desde un emisor a un receptor incorporando mecanismo ópticos para minimizar la dispersión formando haces que dispuestos en paralelo constituyen un plano paralelo al de rodadura, definiendo el área de vía a proteger. Por corte de los haces se detecta los obstáculos desprendidos, arrojados o caídos a la vía, que representen un riesgo hacia las circulaciones. El sistema es capaz de generar una indicación segura de "vía libre" hacia los sistemas de señalización implicados en la autorización de marcha al tren. La ocupación o corte de un conjunto de haces de infrarrojos en forma de barrera paralela al plano de rodadura sirve también para detectar el paso de un tren y su sentido de circulación.
