Abstract

An oxalate-based oncology treatment agent, useful in the chemical industry, is fabricated by mixing (1R,2R)-cyclohexanodiamine based aqueous solution with potassium tetraiodoplatinite (I4PtK2) aqueous solution. The resulting (1R,2R-cyclohexanodiamine)-platinum (II), after silver nitrate solution treatment, receives excess of potassium oxalate aqueous solution. The crystalline product is (1R,2R)-cyclohexanodiamine)-platinum (II) oxalate.
