Abstract
Procedimiento para la reducción catalítica de óxidos de nitrógeno contenidos en los gases de escape que contengan oxígeno, procedentes de dispositivos de combustión, según el cual a los gases de escape que presentan una temperatura de 150 a 950ºC se añade amoniaco en la relación molar NO:NH3 de 1:0,5 a 1:1,5 y según el cual en una cámara de reacción, por la que circulan los gases de escape a una velocidad de 1 a 50 m/s, está suspendida una zeolita de origen natural como catalizador con un 0,1 a 10% en peso de sustancia catalíticamente activa, componiéndose de uno o varios iones metálicos, de cobre y de hierro, incorporados en la red de la zeolita mediante intercambio catiónico, caracterizado porque se usa una mezcla de zeolita natural, compuesta por un 10 a 20% en peso de mordenita, un 60 a 70% en peso de clinoptilolita, un 0 a 5% en peso de montmorillonita, y el resto de SiO2 y compuestos que contienen hierro.
