Abstract

The production of indicators of thawing of frozen food has a feed coil (1) supplying a continuous strip (2) containing aligned central orifices (3). An Independent claim is also included for a product made in the above process. The product has a base made from the strip (2) housing a frozen element (34) which loses its initial spherical shape once it thaws. Preferred Features: Half-moulds (11, 12) on guide chains (5, 6) and a tunnel (33) freezing an indicator liquid (16) are also fitted.
