Abstract

"Retrovisor exterior doble". Este retrovisor exterior doble es aplicable a vehículos automóviles y comprende una carcasa (2) que es acoplable a un soporte (1) montado en la estructura del vehículo. La carcasa (2) configura un cuerpo hueco provisto de un alojamiento superior (3) y de un alojamiento inferior (4) separados mediante un tabique transversal (5) cuyo borde frontal (6) enlaza con el borde frontal (7) de la carcasa (2). En el alojamiento superior (3) está ubicado un espejo (8) provisto de un mecanismo de posicionamiento que es accionable desde el interior y/o exterior del vehículo y permite posicionar el espejo (8) en cualquier posición de entre las habituales de uso. En el alojamiento inferior (4) está ubicado un espejo adicional (9) que ocupa un posición fija respecto de la carcasa (2), adaptado para que el conductor pueda visionar el lateral del vehículo incluida la correspondiente rueda posterior, o para que el conductor del vehículo pueda visionar los vehículos que lo siguen por detrás, cuando éstos quedan situados en la zona de ángulo muerto. Aplicable a la industria del automóvil.
