Abstract
Un reactor para el tratamiento de un medio gaseoso, que incluye una cámara de reactor cilíndrica (300) que tiene un orificio de entrada (301) y un orificio de salida (302) para un medio gaseoso a procesar, un lecho cilíndrico, hueco, permeable al gas (303), contenido dentro de la cámara del reactor (300) y substancialmente coaxial con ella, comprendiendo el lecho permeable al gas un material catalíticamente activo que interactúa con el medio gaseoso para promover la reacción química en el interior, un espacio anular (311) entre el exterior del lecho de material activo (303) y el interior de la cámara del reactor (300) y medios (306) para restringir que el medio gaseoso entre en dicho espacio anular (311) por un extremo en una dirección axial, estando cerrado el otro extremo de dicho espacio anular (311) al flujo axial del medio gaseoso, pasando el medio gaseoso radialmente a través del lecho (303) de material activo, caracterizado porquedicho espacio anular (311) está configurado para proporcionar una impedancia al flujo del medio gaseoso que se incrementa a lo largo de la longitud de dicho espacio anular (311) en la dirección desde un extremo hacia el otro extremo.
