Abstract

Procedimiento de fabricación de una preforma (3) de fibra óptica que comprende un paso de depósito externo de sílice, eventualmente dopada por, al menos, un compuesto dopante, por inyección con la ayuda de, al menos, un medio de inyección (5) de, al menos, un compuesto, que es la citada sílice o un precursor de la citada sílice, en la proximidad de una zona de calentamiento creada por un medio de calentamiento (4), comprendiendo el citado paso, al menos, una pasada según el eje longitudinal (X) de la preforma (3) del medio de inyección (5) y del medio de calentamiento (4), caracterizado porque, durante, al menos, una pasada, se regulan las posiciones relativas del medio de inyección (5) y del medio de calentamiento (4) de modo que la sílice, eventualmente dopada, se deposita a nivel de la zona de calentamiento, cualquiera que sea la posición del citado medio de calentamiento (4).
