Abstract

Un dispositivo de seguridad personal (10) adaptado para su instalación en uso, sobre un elemento de soporte alargado (50) de manera que permita el movimiento de traslación del dispositivo (10) a lo largo de dicho elemento de soporte alargado (50), comprendiendo dicho dispositivo (10) un miembro principal (11) que tiene un taladro (12) para recibir dicho elemento de soporte alargado (50), un elemento de zapata (20) montado en dicho miembro principal (11) teniendo dicho elemento de zapata (20) una superficie de control (21) orientada sustancialmente paralela al eje longitudinal de dicho taladro (12), y un medio de conexión (30) conectado a un extremo de dicho elemento de zapata (20) y estando adaptado en su otro extremo para conectarse a un arnés de seguridad personal, siendo dicho elemento de zapata (20) desplazable en respuesta a una carga súbita del medio de conexión (30) entre una primera posición en la que la superficie de control (21) permite el paso libre del elemento de soporte alargado (50) a través del taladro (12) y una segunda posición en la que la superficie de control (21) aferra el elemento de soporte alargado (50) firmemente en relación con el miembro principal (11), en el que dicho elemento de zapata (20) mantiene la superficie de control (21) en su orientación sustancialmente paralela al eje longitudinal de dicho taladro (12) en todo el desplazamiento del elemento de zapata (20) entre dichas primera y segunda posiciones y caracterizado porque el miembro principal (11) está provisto con superficies en rampa (17, 18) engarzables por el elemento de zapata (20), estando dichas superficies en rampa (17, 18) adaptadas para efectuar el movimiento del elemento de zapata (20) entre sus primera y segunda posiciones.
