Abstract

Fibra óptica plástica con gradiente de índice, siendo el índice de refracción más importante en el centro y reduciendo progresivamente hasta la periférica, estando dicha fibra constituida por una red reticulada sensiblemente homogénea y amorfa a partir de un material de base de polímeros y de monómeros al menos parcialmente fluorados. Procedimiento de fabricación continua de una fibra óptica plástica con gradiente de índice siendo el índice de refracción más importante en el centro y reduciéndose progresivamente hasta l a periferia, teniendo dicha fibra varias capas de resinas depositadas en forma coaxial, que comprende la realización de varias mezclas, comprendiendo cada mezcla al menos un polímero P y un diluyente reactivo que comprende al menos dos monómeros, y a continuación el depósito de dichas mezclas en forma de capas coaxiales, la interfusión de las capas y finalmente la reticulación del polímero P y/o del diluyente reactivo.
