Abstract

Cubierta refrigerada para hornos de arco eléctrico u hornos de cuchara, utilizándose la cubierta como elemento de recubrimiento e incluyendo un sistema de refrigeración que comprende unos tubos alimentados con fluido de refrigeración, incluyendo la cubierta por lo menos una abertura central (25) para el posicionamiento y el movimiento de los electrodos (30) y por lo menos una abertura periférica (14) para la aspiración y descarga de los gases, estando conectada la abertura periférica (14) a unos sistemas de admisión, incluyendo la cubierta dos estructuras de bloque simple, una interior (11) y una exterior (12), que consisten en respectivos tubos curvados (15, 16) que se desarrollan según unos anillos o espirales adyacentes y superpuestos, estando asociadas entre sí la estructura de refrigeración interior (11) y la estructura de refrigeración exterior (12), por lo menos en correspondencia, a las respectivas bases orientadas hacia el interior del horno (20, 20), caracterizada en que entre laestructura interior de bloque simple (11) y la estructura exterior de bloque simple (12) se forma un espacio (13) en el cual circulan y se ralentizan los gases en una dirección anular, comunicando el espacio anular (13) con la abertura periférica, e incluyendo la estructura de refrigeración interior (11) unos intersticios para el tránsito de gases que conectan el interior del horno (20, 29) con el espacio anular (13).
