Abstract

La invención se refiere a una compresa sanitaria. De acuerdo con la invención, la compresa incluye un elemento de refuerzo (10). El elemento de refuerzo está encerrado entre la lámina que forma la carcasa (2, 3) y tiene una parte frontal (4), una parte trasera (6) y una parte intermedia (5). Las partes frontal y trasera son más anchas que la parte intermedia, cuya anchura en la transición entre la parte frontal y la parte intermedia es menor de 4 cm. Al menos algunas partes del resto de la compresa se extienden sobre ambos lados del elemento de refuerzo, lateralmente fuera del elemento, al menos dentro de una región que comienza en la parte frontal del elemento de refuerzo y que termina en la parte trasera del elemento. La resistencia al estiramiento de aquellas partes del resto de la compresa que descansa lateralmente fuera de los bordes laterales respectivos del elemento de refuerzo es mayor que la resistencia del elemento de refuerzo a combarse en su dirección longitudinal.
