Abstract

Un sistema de medición remota, que comprende: una pluralidad de medidores remotos (1), cada uno de los cuales incluye una antena (120), un transmisor (116) para transmitir señales del medidor a través de la antena (120), un receptor (114) conectado a la antena (120) para recibir y filtrar una señal de radio frecuencia de entrada, y una señal portadora (115), cuyo circuito de detección está conectado para recibir la señal de radio frecuencia filtrada y que es accionable para detectar la presencia o ausencia de una señal portadora, y prevenir la activación del transmisor (116) en respuesta a la presencia de una señal portadora, o para activar el transmisor en respuesta a la ausencia de dichas señales portadoras; una pluralidad de unidades concentradoras (2) dispuestas para dirigir la comunicación de RF con grupos respectivos de medidores remotos para recibir desde allí los datos del medidor respectivo; y una unidad de control central (3) dispuestapara comunicación con la pluralidad de unidades del concentrador (2) para recibir los datos del medidor desde la pluralidad de unidades del concentrador (2), caracterizado porque los medidores remotos (1) en un grupo de medidores son accionables para iniciar la comunicación con la unidad concentradora correspondiente (2) durante los periodos de tiempo predefinidos respectivos.
