Abstract

Construcción mejorada de una torre de enfriamiento de un líquido. La torre incluye una pared exterior impermeable y una pared interior flexible y permeable al aire separada hacia el interior desde la pared exterior para definir una cámara entre las dos paredes. La pared interior permeable al aire presenta una multiplicidad de poros a través de los cuales puede pasar el aire con el fin de eliminar depósitos de la cara interna de la pared interior. Está previsto un medio de suministro para inyectar aire al interior de la camara entre las dos paredes y otro medio de suministro inyecta aire al interior del volumen interno dentro de la pared interior, siendo este el aire de enfriamiento. Otro medio pulveriza el líquido en el volumen interno rodeado por la pared interior. Para proporcionar aire a presión en la cámara anular están previstas aberturas en la pared exterior y una cámara impelente, externa a la pared interior, comunica con las aberturas de manera que a través de la inyección de aire al interior de la cámara impelente aquel pasará automáticamente a la camara anular y desde aquí a través de los poros de la pared interior, con el fin de limpiar de depósitos la pared interior.
