Abstract

Climatizador de aire para cabinas de transportes y método para instalarlo sobre un techo inclinado, que comprende un gabinete (1) con una unidad evaporadora (3) instalado sobre un techo inclinado de una cabina y un depósito externo de agua (9) con una bomba elevadora (11) instalados más abajo, entre la cabina y la caja de un camión. La manguera de retorno (13) del colector de agua de exceso (12) proveniente del evaporador tiene su extremo, superior (15) conectado a la parte delantera del colector y luego recorre un tramo ascendente para salir por la parte trasera del gabinete y descender hasta su extremo inferior que está conectada a la salida de la bomba, junto con el de la manguera alimentadora (10) del evaporador por medio de una cupla (14). El mando de la bomba es intermitente, con un ciclo útil menor que 10% suficiente para purgar la manguera de retorno.
