PROCESO Y APARATO PARA LA PREPARACION DE UN GAS DE SINTESIS QUE CONTIENE HIDROGENO Y MONOXIDO DE CARBONO POR REACCION DE OXIDACION PARCIAL CATALIZADA DE UN GAS HIDROCARBURO DE ALIMENTACION, LLEVANDO A CABO EL PROCESO EN UNA SERIE DE PASOS SEPARADOS. EN CADA PASO, SE AÑADE A LA REACCION UNICAMENTE UNA PEQUEÑA FRACCION DE LA CANTIDAD ESTEQUIOMETRICA DE OXIGENO, Y SE PASA EL GAS DE ALIMENTACION A TRAVES DE UNA ZONA CATALITICA DISPUESTA EN CADA PASO, DE MODO QUE SE OBTENGA EN CADA PASO CONVERSION COMPLETA DE LA CANTIDAD DE OXIGENO AÑADIDA.
