Abstract

The integrated seal system guides a vehicle shock absorber rod has a housing (1) for a pushrod (1''), fluid, and a piston which is attached to the vehicle chassis. The fluid is contained around the rod by a seal (4) and cap (5). The seal is a circular rubber body (10) with a series of lips (11). The integrated seal system has a multifunctional damper rod guide component (20) which projects from the housing (13), seal, housing cover, guide (3) and guide bush (2).
