Abstract

Monostatic consistent lidar system with low power heterodyne (SLCM-H) detection for measuring the linear and rotation speed of solid targets.The invention refers to a prototype for a consistent lidar system that can measure the speed of solid targets at a distance of 2m. The principle of operation is based on the detection of the Doppler movement produced in the radiation frequency dispersed by the target, lighted by the system, to obtain a heterodyne detection the transmitted and received signals are moved by using an acoustic-optical modulator, the range of speeds that it can measure reaches approximately 40 km/h in both directions an HeNe low power laser transmitter is employed, as well as an optical system that allows conditioning and processing the transmitted and received signals and the local oscillator and a receiver with a photodiode and amplifier electronics.
