Caja (10) con forma de armario, en especial para su utilización en el exterior, para el alojamiento de unidades modulares que generan calor, en especial unidades eléctricas y/o electrónicas, en cuya caja (10) hay un espacio interior (15) rodeado por paredes (11, 12, 13, 14), cuyas paredes (11, 12, 13, 14) están configuradas por lo menos parcialmente con doble pared, con una pared exterior (110, 120) y con una pared interior (111,121), y con un espacio intermedio (112, 122) situado entre la pared exterior (110, 120) y la pared interior (111, 121), de modo que la pared interior (111, 121) absorbe desde el espacio interior (15) por lo menos una parte del calor generado por las unidades modulares, disponiéndose de primeros medios (23, 24, 25, 26), que producen una corriente de aire que pasa a través del espacio intermedio (112, 122) para la refrigeración del espacio intermedio (15), teniendo la caja (10) un techo (23, 24), que comprende un techo intermedio (23) y un techo superior (24) colocadopor encima del techo intermedio (23) y que está a una distancia del techo intermedio (23) y se engancha por los lados por encima del techo intermedio (23), mientras que el techo intermedio se engancha por encima del espacio intermedio (112, 122) abierto hacia arriba de la pared (11, 12) de doble pared, caracterizada porque el techo superior se engancha por los lados por encima del techo intermedio, dejando libre una abertura (24a) con forma de hendidura, porque el techo intermedio (23) se junta en su terminación con la correspondiente pared exterior (110, 120) y porque por debajo del techo intermedio (23) y a una distancia del mismo están colocados segundos medios (20), que cierran hacia arriba el espacio interior (15) y por los lados están colocados directamente contra la pared interior (111, 121) de la pared (11, 12) de doble pared.
