Abstract

Una antena de red planar (10) con una matriz de conmutación (14) que acopla una señal de radiofrecuencia (RF) con dos alimentaciones de líneas de exploración con ferritas distribuidas (12, 13) que alimentan a una antena de red corta transversal continua planar (11). La antena tiene complejidad reducida y menores costos de diseño y producción. El presente invento utiliza las dos alimentaciones de líneas de exploración con ferritas distribuidas para obtener mayor cobertura de exploración a frecuencias de ondas milimétricas superiores,en las que los materiales ferríticos practicables son menos activos y proporcionan una capacidad disminuida de exploración. Las alimentaciones de líneas de exploración y la antena de red planar se pueden diseñar de manera tal que los cuatro sectores de exploración sean contiguos, para aumentar la cobertura de exploración angular de la antena.
