Abstract

The waste water treatment technique in foodstuffs processing comprises coarse cleaning in a separator (1) and concentration of the water in an evaporator (3). The apparatus dries the concentrate in a final evaporator (4) yielding granulate for animal and fish feed and for use in fertilizers. The vapor leaving the apparatus is re-utilized in the plant (2) producing the waste water. A co-generator produces heat energy for the evaporation and drying processes.
