Abstract

Radiador de cobre, y procedimiento para mejorar la resistencia a la corrosión de un radiador de cobre.El radiador comprende un núcleo o panal (1) constituido por un conjunto de tubos (2) y aletas (3) de cobre, y unos soportes laterales (5) metálicos que quedan unidos a la última aleta (3a) de cada extremo del panal; entre cada soporte lateral (5) y la correspondiente aleta (3a) del extremo del panal tiene interpuesta una tira metálica (6) con un alma (6a) de una aleación de cobre que presenta un recubrimiento (6b) de una aleación de estaño; los soportes laterales (5) están recubiertos por una aleación de cinc.En el procedimiento para mejorar la resistencia a la corrosión de un radiador, se inserta entre cada soporte lateral y la correspondiente aleta del extremo del panal una tira metálica (6) con un alma (6a) de una aleación de cobre que presenta un recubrimiento (6b) de una aleación de estaño; los soportes laterales (5) se recubren con una aleación de cinc.Se evita la corrosión en los soportes laterales.
