Abstract

Tirante ortogonal, diseñado para realizar uniones ortogonales desmontables, fuertes y muy rígidas y compuesto por un tornillo de cabeza plana (diseñada para el uso de llave hexagonal) y una tuerca cilíndrica con, al menos, una rosca interior situada ortogonalmente en el centro de su eje. Una pequeña ranura en la parte exterior de la tuerca sirve para centrarla a la hora del montaje. Las dimensiones (A) (B) (C) están relacionadas entre sí siendo la medida (A) principal e igual al grosor de, al menos, uno de los elementos a unir. La existencia de otras variantes del tirante ortogonal se reduce a distintas dimensiones (A) (B) (C) del mismo y al diseño de la cabeza del tornillo (D). De aplicación para obtener una unión ortogonal desmontable, fuerte y muy rígida con numerosas posibilidades y variaciones para su uso en carpintería y bricolaje, tanto industrial como doméstico.
