LA UTILIZACION DE SOLUCIONES COMERCIALES DE ACIDO PERACETICO DE ALTO CONTENIDO EN ACIDO PERACETICO (PES) Y ACIDO ACETICO PARA LA DESINFECCION DE VOLUMENES GRANDES DE SOLUCIONES ACUOSAS, COMO LAS QUE SALEN DE LAS PLANTAS CLARIFICADORAS, ESTABA MUY LIMITADA POR LOS PROBLEMAS DE ALMACENAMIENTO, TRANSPORTE, MATERIALES, MANIPULACION Y LA INSUFICIENTE INHIBICION DE LA REAPARICION DE GERMENES. DE ACUERDO CON LA INVENCION PUEDEN DESINFECTARSE, INHIBIENDO SIMULTANEAMENTE LA REAPARICION DE GERMENES, GRANDES VOLUMENES DE SOLUCIONES ACUOSAS DE MODO RENTABLE SIN LOS PROBLEMAS MENCIONADOS UTILIZANDO COMO AGENTE DE DESINFECCION UNA SOLUCION DE ACIDO PERACETICO CON UNA CONCENTRACION DE 1,5 A 2,5 % EN PESO DE ACIDO PERACETICO Y UN 40 A 60 % EN PESO DE PEROXIDO DE HIDROGENO Y UNA CONCENTRACION DE ACIDO ACETICO INFERIOR AL 2 % EN PESO.
