PARA EVITAR ADEMAS LA CESION DE IONES DE COBRE AL AGUA POTABLE, LA INVENCION HA PREVISTO PRIMERO UN ESTAÑADO QUIMICO DE LA SUPERFICIE INTERIOR DE EL TUBO DE COBRE, DONDE SE PRETENDE UN ESPESOR DE CAPA MEDIO COMO MAXIMO DE 4 MICRAS. EL RECUBRIMIENTO DE CONFORMACION SE ELEVA AL MENOS 2 % SOBRE LA DIMENSION FINAL DEL TUBO DE COBRE PARA LA OBTENCION DE UNA COMPRESION DE LA CAPA DE ESTAÑO, DONDE SE CIERRAN EVENTUALMENTE LOS POROS QUE PERMANECEN DEL RECUBRIMIENTO.
