This has a first port piped (14) to an injector (16) in the water pipe (1), downstream from the fire pump (2). A return pipe (13) connects the valve second port to the tank. Flow meters in the additive (15) and water (17) pipes, upstream of the injector, supply information (d,D) to an electronic controller (21). This controls the regulating valve, depending on mixture data (C) input.
