HIGHEST PISTON (19), THE PISTON (18), THE INNER SURFACE OF THE CYLINDER AND THE CYLINDER COVER (8). THE COKE SCRAPER RING (23) IS PROJECTED FROM THE INNER SURFACE OF THE CYLINDER AND EXTEND ANNULARLY THROUGH IT IN AN AXIAL POSITION SO THAT THE HIGHEST PISTON RING IS POSITIONED NEAR THE BOTTOM EDGE OF THE COKE SCRAPER RING. THE PISTON IS IN ITS UPPER COUNTERPOINT POSITION. ON ITS INNER CYLINDRICAL SURFACE, THE COKE SCRATCH RING (23) IS PROVIDED WITH SEVERAL ESCAPE GROOVES (24) WHICH EXTEND OBLICUALLY IN RELATION TO THE LONGITUDINAL AXLE OF THE CYLINDER FROM THE BOTTOM SURFACE TO THE UPPER SURFACE OF THE RIGHT SURFACE. ALTERNATIVELY, EXHAUST TRACKS MAY BE AVAILABLE ON THE OUTER CYLINDRICAL SURFACE OF THE HIGHEST PISTON SECTION (21) LOCATED ON THE HIGHEST PISTON RING.
