Abstract

Alimento microencapsulado para larvas de peces marinos y método de utilización del alimento. El alimento microencapsulado objeto de esta invención presenta una morfología uniforme con partículas redondeadas que tienen un diámetro medio que puede oscilar entre 40 y 500 {u m, este intervalo de tamaños permite cubrir todas las fases del desarrollo larvario de peces marinos. Las microcápsulas presentan un contenido homogéneo de los componentes de la dieta. Las partículas tienen una elevada estabilidad y mantienen su contenido en una proporción superior al 99% después de 4 horas de rehidratación, y superior a 95% después de 24 horas de rehidratación conservando siempre su morfología. Las microcápsulas deshidratadas al entrar en contacto con la superficie del agua se dispersan con gran facilidad quedando las partículas individualizadas sin formar grumos. La baja densidad aparente de las cápsulas (400 a 600 gramos por litro) les confiere una excelente flotabilidad manteniéndose en superficie durante la rehidratación y sedimentando posteriormente con una tasa de 25 cm por hora. Esta alimento microencapsulado presenta una composición en principios inmediatos y un contenido energético comparable al de las presas vivas.
