Abstract

Pila de combustible alcalina para la cogeneración de peróxido de hidrógeno. Comprende por lo menos un ánodo (2) de difusión de hidrógeno, por lo menos un cátodo (3) de difusión de oxígeno y un electrólito (4) alcalino en un único compartimento (22) que no contiene medios separadores del electrólito, siendo dicha pila (1) capaz de cogenerar peróxido de hidrógeno o su base conjugada. El ánodo (2) se alimenta con hidrógeno o mezclas de gases que lo contengan y el cátodo (3) se alimenta con oxígeno o un gas que lo contenga. Dicho electrólito alcalino comprende hidróxidos de Li, Na o K a una concentración comprendida entre 0,001 M y 10 M, preferiblemente entre 0,1 y 2 M. Utilización del peróxido de hidrógeno cogenerado en el blanqueo de la pasta de papel, en el blanqueo de tejidos de la industria textil y como elemento de una batería de pilas.
