EL METODO CONSISTE EN INCORPORAR EN EL MEDIO UNA CANTIDAD INHIBIDORA DE LA CORROSION DE UNA COMPOSICION DE SAL DE PIRIDINA (QUE CONTENGA UNA COMPOSICION DE SAL DE PIRIDINA CUATERNARIA Y/O UNA COMPOSICION DE SAL DE PIRIDINA.HCL) Y UN SURFACTANTE CATIONICO QUE FORMA UNA DOBLE CAPA SOBRE LAS SUPERFICIES FERROSAS QUE SE ENCUENTRAN EN EL MEDIO. TAMBIEN SE PRESENTAN LAS COMPOSICIONES DE SAL DE PIRIDINA MUY CUATERNIZADAS UTILES EN TAL METODO Y UN METODO PARA LA PREPARACION DE DICHAS COMPOSICIONES.
