SISTEMA DE ALIMENTACION DE UNA LOCOMOTORA MULTICORRIENTE DE 2N MOTORES, CON N SUPERIOR O IGUAL A 2, QUE COMPRENDE 2N PARES DE CONVERTIDORES DE TENSION (B11 Y B12) ASOCIADOS RESPECTIVAMENTE A LOS 2N MOTORES, ESTANDO CADA MOTOR M11 ALIMENTADO MEDIANTE UN ONDULADOR CONECTADO A LOS TERMINALES DE UN CONDENSADOR DE CARGA (C1). CUANDO LA ALIMENTACION ALTERNA DE LA LOCOMOTORA ESTA EN CORRIENTE ALTERNA, CADA UNO DE LOS PARES FORMA UN CONVERTIDOR 4 DE CUADRANTES CUYAS DOS PARTES ESTAN CONECTADAS POR ARROLLAMIENTO SECUNDARIO (SI) DE UN TRANSFORMADOR CUYO ARROLLAMIENTO PRIMARIO ESTA CONECTADO DIRECTAMENTE A LOS TERMINALES DE LA ALIMENTACION ALTERNA. CUANDO LA LOCOMOTORA ESTA ALIMENTADO CON CORRIENTE CONTINUA, UNOS CONMUTADORES (H11 Y H12) PERMITEN UTILIZAR LOS CONVERTIDORES DE TENSION BIEN COMO CORTADORES REDUCTORES DE TENSION, BIEN COMO CORTADORES ELEVADORES DE TENSION. ESTE SISTEMA ESTA CONCEBIDO DE MANERA QUE EN CASO DE FALLO DE UN CONVERTIDOR U ONDULADOR, BASTA AISLARLO A LA VEZ QUE SE CONSERVAN LAS OTRAS FUNCIONALIDADES. LA DISPONIBILIDAD SE MEJORA CONSIDERABLEMENTE , YA QUE, INCLUSO EN CASO DE FALLO, SE CONSERVA EL ESFUERZO SOBRE AL MENOS 3 MOTORES.
